When Aquaman returns to his kingdom, he's shocked to discover the death of one of his closest allies. Determined to solve the mystery behind his friend's murder, Arthur must challenge a fearsome new enemy--one that may prove to be the greatest threat he's ever faced!Aquaman and Mera have returned from their stay in Skartaris with the two coming home to find Atlantis in mourning.Aquaman is then met by a furious Dolphin who reveal Garth has died, and she was visited by his ghost. Aquaman however refuses to believe him, and it then shown the body brought back by Roudunn with Aquaman refusing to accept his deathAquaman then departs from the palace to find Garth being accompanied by Roudunn to the pit. The two then don containment suits and travel to the bottom of the pit only to be attacked by an illusion. They then reach the bottom where they find Garth, still alive.
